How does it work?
Dragonflies are the mortal enemy for mosquitoes and in flight they generate sound frequencies (approximately) between 67 Hz and 45 Hz, depending on their sizes.

56 Hz is a good average number in between those frequencies. Your PC sound card and speakers will work well for this purpose. There are many sound and tone generator programs available on the internet for both the Mac and Windows PC. Setup your computer with the sound/tone generator program running and then play the sound through your computer speakers. The speakers can be aimed directionally for complete room coverage.

The sound level on the speakers should be adjusted so it is barely audible. This arrangement can be setup in a bedroom where you would like to have the window open but are worried about mosquitoes. One speaker should be fairly close to where you are sleeping.

Making A file of the size you want

How to make a file of the size you want ?
Let us assume you want to make a file of size 10000kb
Convert it to bytes -> 10000*1024 which comes out to be 10240000 bytes

Open calculator (win key+r -> type in calc )
Choose view mode to be Scientific one
Type in 10240000 and convert it to hex it comes out to be 9C4000
Convert this value to 8 digits by padding zeroes to its left -> so finally it comes out be 009C4000

Open Command Prompt (win key + r -> type in cmd )
Type DEBUG filename.dat
it'll show file not found error ,ignore it
Type RCX -> Enter -> then last four hexadecimal numbers i.e. 4000 ->Enter
Type RBX -> Enter -> then first four hexadecimal numbers i.e. 009C->Enter
Type W ->Enter
Type Q ->Enter

W stands for write and Q for quit

Now check the file you just made by dir command ->dir filename.dat

Using the same technique you can make files as big as you want

Ok, so first you will need to know how to access MS-DOS. There are several ways to do this, The next paragraph will be about creating the prompt:

Almost everybody wants to know how to unblock websites so im going to tell you a few strategies. Ok Lets say you wanted to go on www.youtube.com but your stupid school blocks it, well here is how to bypass it.

1.Open up Command Prompt (Explained Above) Type Exactly this:

"Ping(Space)www.youtube.com " without the quotes of course

It should then say pinging youtube.com and will give you a number that should look abit like this. 208.65.153.251

Ok now,

This number is your key, go to your web address bar type in

http://208.65.153.251

You will now be running youtube on the school / work computer through Youtubes
IP Address.

2. Use a proxy server/unblock site such as www.instantunblock.com or www.ultimateunblock.com Or www.proxify.com
That's just three there are many more:)

3. Go to http://www.google.com.au and click on "Language Tools"

Now in the space where you can translate webpages type the desired website

Click "German to English" then click translate, So basically the website is already in english so it cant be translated.

When you search for the Website at school on google, Below the link to the website should be a little link saying "Cached" Click that and you should be in.

Some Tips to make Firefox Faster

Guys Here is some Tips to make Firefox faster. This will help to load faster specially slow connections and UL BB users who is getting speed of 256/kbps. i had tried and using this. i got this from various sites.

1. Type about:config into the Firefox URL/address bar and hit ENTER. You will be warned that you might void your warranty if you change some advanced settings, but just go on and trust me :-)

2. Inside the Firefox configuration page, scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining and network.http.proxy.pipelining -->Set their values to “true” by double-clicking each one of them.

3. Next up, find this entry: network.http.pipelining.maxrequests -->Double-click and set the value to 30.

4. Right-click anywhere inside the config page and select New --> Integer. Name it nglayout.initialpaint.delay and set the value to “0″.

5. Right-click anywhere inside the config page and select New --> Integer. Name it content.notify.interval and set the value to “500000″.

6. Right-click anywhere inside the config page and select New --> Boolean. Name it content.notify.ontimer and set the value to “true″.

7. Right-click anywhere inside the config page and select New --> Integer. Name it content.switch.threshold and set the value to “250000″.

8. Right-click anywhere inside the config page and select New --> Boolean. Name it content.interrupt.parsing and set the value to “false″.

9. Look for “network.http.keep-alive”. If it’s false, double-click that line and to change it to true.

10. Make sure “network.http.version” is set to “1.1″.

11. right-click anywhere in the window and select New > Integer. Type browser.cache.memory.capacity, click OK, enter 65536 and click OK,

Hello readers a year ago i wrote a hub about funny computer tricks and it has become very popular in hubpage now. So i have decided to make my second Hubs about computer tricks. In this Hub i am going to show you some more funny tricks about computers. Check my previous post first and then read this Hubs, to see my previous article please click here
Ohk lets start our computer tricks mission,

1) Use Monoface to make funny faces and have fun. Go to Monoface and create faces by just clicking on it . Don't blame me if you freak out of yourself at the 1st time

2) Multiple user login in yahoo Massager without any software or patch: You can login to to yahoo messenger with multiple user ID without any software or patch. You just have to do a simple Task. First click Start menu and then click run, then type regedit and then press enter. A box will appear now from the box navigate HKEY_CURRENT_USER , then from the list select SOFTWARE , then from the software select YAHOO , then from Yahoo select PAGER , then from Pager select TEST. Now right click on the TEST and then click Dword value. In the right side you will notice a new folder appears, Rename it as Plural. Then double click it then select decimal and give the value 1 in the value box and click OK. That's it now try to login in yahoo messenger with multiple ID. (you will find this tricks as the most useful trick )


3) Watch Star wars Movie in your PC : Do you know you can watch Star wars Text movie from your computer. To watch it click the start button then click Run . Type telnet in run. You will find DOS black screen. in the black screen of Dos , type o and click enter and again type towel.blinkenlights.nl and click enter . That's it, the text movie will begin, wait for few seconds and enjoy it . :)

4) Watch Videos on megavideo without any time limit: We often get annoyed when we watch an online movie in Megavideo and suddenly after 72 minutes it interrupts. To avoid this problem first copy the video link of megavideo and then Click here . Then past the link to this website and enjoy the movie without any interruption.


5.Make an invisible Folder: In my previous Hubs i have told you how to make a folder without any names. Now i am going to show you how to make a complete invisible folder to your desktop. You can surprise people by doing this trick. At first you have to make the folder without any name. So first the folder then right click and click rename , remove the name (by backspace or delete button) , hold in that position. Be sure your numlock is on, if not then make it on. Now press and hold ALT button and type 0160 (remember you must have to hold ALT button and typw the code from the num pad must, it won't appear in the screen) . When you complete typing the code, release ALT and press enter . you will see a folder without no name. At first try it will be difficult for you to acquire the whole tricks but eventually you will get it right. So try , apology if i failed to make you understand .
Now the second part is easy, you just have to make the folder invisible. To do that select the folder, right click go to properties , click customize , then click Change icon and then you will find many icons available, slowly search for a icon that doesn't show, i mean an invisible icon totally blank, select and then apply .
Thats it, The invisible folder is ready, You can also make it invisible without removing the name. Then only name will appear without the folder
6. On-Screen Keyboard: Ohk this is the most simple trick, in fact it is not a trick. It's for those who yet hasn't heard about it. Sometimes you may need to type something urgently but if you found that your keyboard is not working what you will do? You simple just click Start, then clickall programs , then accessories , then accessibility and then click on-screen key board . Thats it, you can type through the mouse only.
7.Create Shutdown,log off, or hibernate shortcut key: Sometimes we get too lazy and we need some easier way to do our work. Lets create shortcut key to shutdown our computers. At first right click on your desktop free space then click new and select shortcut. A box will appear and type the following word exactly shutdown -r -t 0 . then click ok. A new shortcut folder will be created and you can shut down your computer immediately . For log off or stand by copy the following :
Restart: shutdown -r -t 0
Logoff: shutdown -l -t 0
Hibernate: rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState Hibernate
